Apple CarPlay no longer working on '21 Mazda CX5. My wife bought a 2021 CX-5 about 2 months ago and it has been a wonderful car. She has not had a single issue until today when we left to drive to dinner and her Apple CarPlay would not connect. She is able to connect to her car via Bluetooth but CarPlay seems to be an issue.

maaaatttt_Damon • 2 yr. ago. From what I have read, installation is basically updating the USB device to 3.0 to handle the speed needed for car play. I would also guess a dealer and a 3rd party installer both hire from the same pool of candidates, both are just as likely to either mess up or install it correctly. Personally, I would do it myself.
